Holiday Movie To Watch

We’re in the thick of it right now, just four more days before Christmas. And while you are gearing up for the big meal, or finishing some last minute shopping you need to remember to relax and have some fun too. That is why I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday movies … that just happens to star a famous plus-size celebrity.

Queen_Latifah_in_Last_Holiday_Wallpaper_1_1024Last Holiday, starring Queen Latifah, doesn’t exactly focus on the Christmas season but on a woman who thinks she has a terminal illness after hitting her head at work. She decides to cash in on all her bank accounts and go to her dream resort during the holidays to luxuriate and do everything she ever wanted to do during her last days alive.

That’s the quickest and shortest synopsis of the movie and probably slightly lackluster, but I want you to go watch it instead of just reading about it. And I left out the end so you will (hopefully) go watch it. But I wanted to share this movie not only because it revolves around the holidays but also because she’s PLUS-SIZE.

This is one of my favorite parts of the movie because I'd totally want to just jump into bed and roll around in the sheets.

That is right, Queen Latifah is a big, beautiful curvy woman … and she shows that anyone can accomplish their dreams. She went from a hip hop mega star to a world renown actress. Now she is a spokeswoman for many different brands, campaigns and people. So no matter your shape, size, weight or hair color … you can make it in any career you want.
